What Timeslice is, and why that matters here

Timeslice is a task app where each task can be handed to an AI agent. The agent reads the task, works on it, and writes the result back. When you start an agent, you are asking software to act for you, and this page describes what that involves.

What we collect

• Your account. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name and email address and nothing else. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever see the relay address, which is fine: it works as your account address and mail sent to it reaches you.
• What you put in. Your tasks, the documents on their canvases, your chat messages to the agent, and any files or images you attach.
• What the agent learns. The agent keeps short notes about your preferences so it does not have to ask twice. You can read every one of them on your account page and delete any of them.
• Usage. How many runs you have used this period, how long your agents ran, and what those runs cost us. This is what the meter on your account page shows.
• Device basics. Your time zone, so scheduled tasks fire on your day rather than ours, and a push token if you turn on notifications.

There is no advertising and no third-party tracker on any Timeslice surface. The one analytics tool, PostHog, is listed below with exactly what it counts.

Where your work is processed

Agent runs execute on our servers, in a sandbox that is isolated per person at the operating-system level: your agent runs under its own user account with its own private working directory, and cannot read another customer's.

On a Work account, runs execute on your own Mac instead, with your own AI subscription, and your board is encrypted so only your devices can read it.

To do the work, the text of your task, your messages, and the documents the agent is working on are sent to a third-party AI model provider. Today those are OpenAI, which runs the agent and live voice, and Anthropic, which writes task titles and plans Prioritize. We may change providers, and we will update this page when we do. We do not permit any provider to train models on your content.

If you ask the agent to look something up, it fetches public web pages the way a browser would. Those sites see a request from our servers, not from you.

Who else sees anything

• Google Cloud and Firebase host the service and store your data.
• OpenAI processes agent runs and live voice, as described above.
• Anthropic processes task titles and Prioritize, as described above.
• Google turns text into speech when a task makes audio or you listen to a task.
• Bland places a phone call when you ask an agent to make one.
• Stripe handles payments. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach us.
• Apple, if you subscribe through the App Store instead.
• PostHog counts page visits and a few steps such as signing up and subscribing, under an account number rather than your name or email; it never sees your tasks, and nothing from a Work account is sent.

Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising. We would disclose content only if legally compelled.

Sharing a task deliberately

If you create a share link for a task, anyone holding that link can read and edit that one task's canvas without signing in, and can see its title. That is the point of the feature. You can revoke a link at any time, and revoking it stops the link working.

Deleting your account

Your account page has a Delete account button, on the web and in the iOS app. It deletes your tasks, canvases, files, chat history and the agent's notes about you, cancels any subscription, and removes your sign-in identity. It cannot be undone, and we do not keep a copy.

Some records are kept because we have to: payment records live with Stripe or Apple for tax and accounting purposes, and ordinary server logs roll off on their own schedule.

Children

Timeslice is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what happens to your data, the date at the top changes and we will say so in the app.
